The Peace and Justice SIG is pleased to announce that Greg Boyd will be its guest speaker at the NAFSA: Association of International Educators annual conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 30th at 1:45pm.

Mr. Boyd is the Senior Pastor at Woodland Hills Church in St. Paul, Minnesota and is the author or co-author of 16 books, the most recent one titled The Myth of a Christian Nation: How the Quest for Political Power is Harming the Church (2006). His new work, Myth of the Blueprint is scheduled for release in 2007. Mr. Boyd received the Teaching Excellence Award and Campus Leadership Award at Bethel College where he taught as Professor of Theology for 16 years.

He was featured in a July 30, 2006 article in the New York Times. Mr. Boyd's presentation at the P & J SIG meeting is titled, "Religious Violence and the Hope of Peace: A Christian Perspective."
